An anonymised string created from your email address (also called a hash) may be provided to the Gravatar service to see if you are using it. The Gravatar service privacy policy is available here: https://automattic.com/privacy/. After approval of your comment, your profile picture is visible to the public in the context of your comment.

Cookies

If you leave a comment on our site you may opt-in to saving your name, email address and website in cookies. These are for your convenience so that you do not have to fill in your details again when you leave another comment. These cookies will last for one year.

If you have an account and you log in to this site, we will set a temporary cookie to determine if your browser accepts cookies. This cookie contains no personal data and is discarded when you close your browser.

The shop section of the website also set temporary cookies on your machine to store your current session, allowing you to browse between pages without losing your basket contents so you can navigate through the shop and successfully purchase products from our site.

Embedded content from other websites

Articles on this site may include embedded content (e.g. videos, images, articles, etc.). Embedded content from other websites behaves in the exact same way as if the visitor has visited the other website.

These websites may collect data about you, use cookies, embed additional third-party tracking, and monitor your interaction with that embedded content, including tracing your interaction with the embedded content if you have an account and are logged in to that website.

Analytics

We do use Google Analytics on this website in order to see how the website performs, where visitors come from, and what pages they browse to. In order to ensure that your privacy is respected, we don’t collect or pass any information to Google Analytics that could identify you personally.

Additional information

How we protect your data

We ensure that your data is protected through the website by utilising HTTPS communication between the server and any devices that connect to the site.

All transaction information passed between merchant sites and Worldpay’s systems is encrypted using 128-bit SSL certificates. No cardholder information is ever passed unencrypted and any messages sent to your servers from Worldpay are signed using MD5 hashing to prevent tampering. You can be completely assured that nothing you pass to Worldpay’s servers can be examined, used or modified by any third parties attempting to gain access to sensitive information.

What data breach procedures we have in place

We utilise a firewall to protect logins to the website. This automatically blocks IP addresses that fail to log into the website after a number of failed login attempts. We are also notified upon any successful logins by website administrators.

Third party websites

We do link to other websites in places. We are not responsible for the content, practices, or privacy policies for these third party websites.

Updating information

If any of the information we have for you is incorrect, please notify us and we can amend it as required.
